U.S.-China Aviation Cooperation Program 2024 Reception Held
On October 21, Han Jun, Deputy Administrator of CAAC, attended a reception hosted by U.S. Ambassador to China, Nicholas Burns, at his residence to celebrate the U.S.-China Aviation Cooperation Program (ACP). Around 100 representatives from civil aviation authorities, relevant government departments, and industry stakeholders from both countries participated in the event.
2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the ACP, which serves as a vital channel and platform for exchange and cooperation in the civil aviation sector between China and the United States. Through ACP, the two countries have deepened collaboration in areas such as airworthiness certification, flight standards, aviation security, and air logistics, achieving significant results. The program has played a crucial role in promoting the safe development of civil aviation in both countries.
