CAAC Holds Special Video Meeting on Winter Operation Support
On October 24, CAAC held a special video meeting to make arrangements for winter operation support, to ensure safe, smooth and efficient flight operations while continuously improving service quality. Ma Bing, Deputy Administrator of CAAC, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
During the meeting, the Meteorological Center of the Air Traffic Management Bureau (ATMB) of CAAC reported on the general weather trends for the upcoming winter and November. The CAAC Operations Monitoring Center presented the Overall Plan for Civil Aviation Operation Support in Winter 2024. Additionally, the Air Traffic Management Bureau of CAAC, CAAC Northeast Regional Administration, China Southern Airlines, Beijing Capital International Airport, Changsha Airport, and Urumqi Airport provided updates on their preparations for winter operations. Participants included principals from relevant departments of CAAC, the ATMB, the Operations Monitoring Center, regional administrations and oversight bureaus, as well as representatives from various airlines and airport companies.
