Entrusted to go through the application procedures for foreign, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan airlines to set up, extend, and modify representative offices in China; going through the procedures of entry visa invitation for foreigners invited by CAAC; undertaking education and training for employees of foreign airlines in China as well as dispatched civil aviation labor service personnel; putting on record the names of Chinese crew members employed by foreign airlines, as well as China’s Mainland crew members employed by Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan airlines; organizing or hosting foreign-related civil aviation conventions and exhibitions both at home and abroad; providing civil aviation information and consultation services.
Served as secretariat for civil aviation international cooperation platforms between China and Central Asia, United States and European Union; authorized to carry out cooperation with international organizations such as ICAO.
