Civil Aviation Delegation of China Visits Tajikistan
From March 31 to April 2, Ma Bing, Deputy Administrator of CAAC, led a delegation to Tajikistan and held talks with the heads of Civil Aviation Authority of Tajikistan and the SUE Tajikairnavigation respectively, in a bit to promote bilateral air connectivity and cooperation, and to improve the operation safety and efficiency of the region.
Ma Bing indicated that under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Emomali Rahmon, China-Tajik relations have been continuously upgraded. CAAC is ready to work with the Civil Aviation Agency of Tajikistan to fully implement the consensus reached by the heads of the two countries, and achieve more new progress in civil aviation cooperation. China encourages airlines to launch more direct flights between the two countries, continuously optimizing the route network and playing a greater role in facilitating friendly exchanges between the people of China and Tajikistan. Ma hoped that the civil aviation authorities of both countries will further strengthen cooperation in areas such as aviation safety oversight, air traffic control operations, airport construction, and talent development, and work together to achieve greater success in establishing new entry and exit points and connecting air routes, contributing more to the safe and sound development of the aviation industry between China and Tajikistan as well as in the Central Asian region.
Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Nazarzoda Habibullo Temur indicated that Tajikistan and China are as close as brothers. The two heads of state have chartered the way for developing Sino-Tajik relations which is an example for international cooperation. Tajikistan supports the launching of more direct flights between the two countries to meet the growing needs of people-to-people exchanges, which is a concrete step towards the high-quality development of "Belt and Road" partnerships. Tajikistan looks forward to expanding cooperation in the civil aviation sector, and the youth of both sides should enhance interaction, mutual learning and exchange, working together to carry forward the great friendship between the two countries into the future. Begijonzoda Loik, Director General of SUE Tajikairnavigation, noted that the newly established air entry and exit points between China and Tajikistan have significantly improved Tajikistan's communication and navigation capabilities, laying a solid foundation for further cooperation. Mr. Begijonzoda hoped that China will continue to support Tajiksitan in improving the safety and efficiency of route operations.
