Song Zhiyong Meets with Florian Guillermet, Executive Director of European Union Aviation Safety Agency
On April 1, Song Zhiyong, Administrator of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), met in Beijing with Florian Guillermet, Executive Director of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and Christine Berg, Head of Unit in charge of Aviation Safety, Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport, European Commission. Both sides recognized the fruitful achievements of China-European civil aviation cooperation in recent years and had an in-depth exchange of views on strengthening exchanges in various fields of civil aviation. Both sides expressed readiness to further deepen cooperation and collaboratively promote the safe and sustainable development of the global civil aviation industry. Hu Zhenjiang, Deputy Administrator of CAAC, also attended the meeting.
Prior to the meeting, CAAC and EASA held the first China-EU BASA Joint Committee meeting.
