Hu Zhenjiang Meets with Brendan Nelson, Senior Vice President of the Boeing Company

On March 24, Hu Zhenjiang, Deputy Administrator of CAAC, met with Brendan Nelson, Senior Vice President of the Boeing Company and President of Boeing Global, in Beijing. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on Boeing's business development in China and further strengthening cooperation.

Hu Zhenjiang noted that this year marks the 53rd year of cooperation between China's civil aviation industry and Boeing. Over the years, the two sides have maintained extensive collaboration in various fields. Boeing has participated in, witnessed and benefited from China's civil aviation development. With its enormous potential and promising prospects, China's civil aviation market continues to thrive. CAAC actively supports Boeing's development in China and hopes that Boeing would work closely with China's civil aviation stakeholders to promote the safe and sound growth of the global aviation sector.

Nelson provided an update on Boeing's recent development, particularly its business operations in China. He emphasized Boeing's strong commitment to the Chinese market and expressed the company's willingness to maintain close communication and cooperation with China's civil aviation industry players. Boeing aims to contribute actively to the development of civil aviation in both countries and beyond while promoting bilateral personnel and economic exchanges.
