Civil Aviation Delegation of China Visits Spain
From September 19 to 21, a delegation led by Mr. Han Jun, Deputy Administrator of CAAC, paid a visit to Spain.
The CAAC delegation held talks with the Spanish Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), and both sides discussed topics on bilateral air traffic rights arrangements, strengthening cooperation in ICAO and civil aviation in various fields, and signed the Record of Discussion. The delegation also visited the Airbus Illescas plant and Spain’s Repsol YPF SA to see the application of advanced manufacturing, composite materials and related technologies in aviation manufacturing. They exchanged views on the security of the aviation supply chain and development of the civil aviation industry, and gained insights into the implementation of sustainable aviation fuel in EU in terms of legislation, production and various technological pathways.
During the visit, the delegation also met with the Chinese Embassy in Spain.
