Notice on Diverting International Flights Bound for Beijing to Designated First Points of Entry into China (No. 1)

With the approval of the State Council, and in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Frontier Health and Quarantine Law of the People’s Republic of China and the Civil Aviation Law of the People’s Republic of China, it is decided that starting from 00:00 of March 20 midnight, the following international flights bound for Beijing will be diverted to designated first points of entry into China. It is hereby announced as follows:

1. Adjustment will be made to some international passenger flights which will be diverted to the designated first points of entry into China. The designated first point of entry for the following flights shall be Tianjin: Air China Flight CA910 from Moscow to Beijing, arriving on March 20 Beijing Time (BJT) and Air China Flight CA934 from Paris to Beijing, arriving on March 22 BJT. The designated first point of entry for Air China Flight CA926 from Tokyo to Beijing, arriving on March 20 to 22 BJT, shall be Hohhot. The designated first point of entry for Hainan Airlines’ Flight HU7976 from Toronto to Beijing, arriving on March 21 and 22 BJT, shall be Taiyuan.

2. Passengers on the above-mentioned international flights shall go through quarantine inspection and customs clearance formalities and claim baggage at the first points of entry. Passengers who passed quarantine inspection can fly to Beijing on the original flight. Customs clearance for belly-held cargo shall be conducted in Beijing.

3. Timely adjustment to the designated first points of entry for international flights bound for Beijing and relevant measures will be made based on the epidemic development.
