The Second CATA Aviation Conference Opens in Beijing
The Second CATA Aviation Conference, themed “Digitalization Enlightens Future Aviation” opened in Beijing on October 25. Hosted by the China Air Transport Association (CATA), the 3-day event focused on safety, service, regularity, green and intelligence. It set up multiple innovation forums to display innovation achievements in civil aviation technology. Hu Zhenjiang, Deputy Administrator of CAAC, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony and visited the trade show.
The conference included an opening ceremony, industry forums, and a trade show. Industry forums consisted of a main forum and six sub-forums. The main forum featured speeches by Wu Guanghui, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as leaders from airlines, airports, and civil aviation support entities. Six sub-forums covered topics such as smart civil aviation innovation, general aviation and low-altitude economy development, aviation finance, civil aviation network and data safety, air logistics, and the political and ideological work among civil aviation personnel. The trade show featured various sections, including a comprehensive exhibition area, a general aviation and low-altitude economy development area, an award-winning civil aviation technology zone, and an innovative cabin and airline catering zone. Nearly 200 companies and organizations from the aviation industrial chain participated in the show, which included airlines, airports, air traffic management units, aviation equipment manufacturers, catering companies and equipment manufacturers, logistics firms, financial institutions, research institutes, and civil aviation universities. All of them showcased the latest achievements in aviation technology and innovation.
