13.26 Million Passengers Air-transported during the 2020 National Day Holiday
Civil aviation operation across the country was generally safe and stable during the National Day holiday in 2020. From October 1 to 8, a total of 13.26 million passengers were transported by Chinese carriers, and the average daily passenger turnover returned to 91.07% that of the same period in 2019. The actual number of flights nationwide was 117,327, 89.7% of the same period last year. Among these flights, 109,856 were domestic, and the average daily flights increased 12.98 percentage points over that of same period in 2019. The average flight regularity rate stood at 95.04%, increasing by 1.82 percentage points year-on-year, and the average load factor was 78.64%. The bookings and load factors of flights arriving at/departing from major tourism cities have approached or reached the level of the same period last year.
